Description

Meet Patrick, Agustin and Dom: three 30-something friends living in San Francisco exploring the exciting, sometimes overwhelming, options available to a new generation of gay men. From HBO comes Season 1 of this comedy series that offers up the unfiltered experiences of these three close friends living--and loving--in modern-day San Francisco. Patrick (Jonathan Groff) is a video game designer getting back into the dating game in the wake of his ex's engagement; Agustin (Frankie J. Alvarez) is an aspiring artist who questions the concept of monogamy amid a move to domesticate with his boyfriend; Dom (Murray Bartlett) is a long-time waiter who is facing middle-age and unfulfilled dreams. Together, their stories intertwine within the progressive, unpredictable, sexually-open culture of the Bay Area.

I really don't understand this show being cancelled, especially with the release of HBO Now, the audience this show now reaches is much more. Much more realistic than that other show from the 90's.
  • Exactly the show I've been waiting for

Although I can't relate to every person or most of the experiences and location, I really enjoyed the realness of this show. The acting was amazing and the characters were varied. I loved the work/home plot stories as well. So sad this was cancelled.

I love love love this show. It's so relevant to gay life today. Many of the situations the characters get themselves into are relatable. Even if you aren't gay, this show is a must watch. I wish I could give 6 stars!

This show depicts gay life and “looking” for more than just sex, drugs, and all that other B.S. The characters in this series are real and raw. HBO, you’ve done an amazing job and I look forward to Sundays while this series is on. My only wish…make it longer!!
  • The Next Best Show!

I'm in love with this show! Very true and relatable compared to the old queer TV shows before. Has the same vibe as GIRLS but still very entertaining. As a gay man myself, this show makes me gush on every sweet or love scene that the actors does. The story/characters are not very stereotypical but all applies to real modern life. Hope I can download the Season 2 already while it airs on HBO. I can't wait!
